The aim of this article is to provide insight into the language employed in the Middle Low German translations of Old Frisian texts originating from the Ommelanden, as found in manuscripts R 7, R 8, and R 9 of the Richthofenkolleksje at Tresoar (Leeuwarden). Specifically, the study seeks to contextualise these manuscripts within the broader Ommelanden tradition, drawing on the latest research in this field.
