Abstract

In Frisian the non-enclitic 2nd pers. sg. pron. do may be followed by relative clauses
beginning with dy'tst, a hitherto neglected phenomenon in Frisian grammars. This
dy'tst cannot be expanded into full dy'tsto or dy'tste, though historically -st does derive from -stu.
