The Present-Day Trinitarian Renaissance. A Survey. 
Far from having become obsolete, during the last decades the doctrine of the Trinity has been the object of a huge increase in interest among theologians of all main Christian denominations. In this article, the backgrounds and contours of this remarkable revival are traced, different trends in present-day trinitarian theology are distinguished, and an attempt is made to come to a provisional appraisal. Whereas the author is in fundamental agreement with the rediscovery of the pivotal significance of a trinitarian understanding of Christian faith, he also points to some risks and still open questions in present-day trinitarian theology.
