The importance of Reformed theology for the education of pastors today lies primarily in the perspective or worldview this theology offers. Without presuming that it is possible to develop a comprehensive Reformed worldview, this paper – primarily inspired by thoughts from Herman Bavinck and James Orr – argues that a specific Reformed perspective or lens consists of seven concentric circles: God, creation, history, redemption, the Word, the Church, and the soul.
