Addresses methodological difficulties in Andries van den Broek's "Cohorten zonder generaties. Cohortvervanging en generatievorning in Nederland" ([Cohorts without Generations. Cohort Replacement and Generation Formation in the Netherlands] see SA 43:2/9503309). As they stand, Van den Broek's ideas for how to address Henk A. Becker's (eg, 1985, 1987) shortcomings are unhelpful, especially with respect to the multiple regression technique known as age-period-cohort analysis. 7 References. M. Meeks
