Samenvatting

The article presents the opinion of the author on the eleventh biannual report by the social and cultural plan office (SCP) in the Netherlands, which is publishing it since 1974. The author says that the length of this report, is the only distinction. He says that internationalisation is mentioned at numerous places, but the report itself is very little international. Future reports must contain chapters comparing the Netherlands social and cultural developments with neighbouring countries.
