Samenvatting

An examination of the possibility of applying 'socio-analysis' in teaching sociology. Socio-analysis is defined as the area of transition between teaching and psychotherapy. Its theory has been defined by A. Amar in his article 'Introduction a la SocioAnalyse' (Introduction to Socio-Analysis) in Revue Francaise de Psychoanalyse, 1950; it has been practiced by J. L. Moreno in his 'socio-drama' and L. Bradford in his Training Centre for Group Dynamics. It is concluded that socio-analysis may be incorporated into the teaching of sociology. It has a great formative value and helps the student to orient himself in his society; it requires considerable self-denial on the part of the teacher. I. Langnas.
