A summary of the topics which came under discussion at the meetings of the Institute for Sociological Research among the Dutch (ISONEVO), held 23-24 Nov 1953. J. de Bruyn discussed the activity of the Central Bureau for Statistics with reference to the use of radio. G. Hendriks surveyed the task and aim of planning and documentation of the Ministry for Social Affairs. H. P. M. Litjens discussed the asocial families. J. J. M. van Tulder spoke of the national stratification of occup's. Mrs. H. M. Veld-Langeveld gave her ideas on participant observation, used when the Zealand-disaster was investigated. J. M. A. Penders spoke of villages in exp'al stages, and M. A. J. Visser spoke of the agriculture laborers. H. P. M. Goddijn.
