Samenvatting

An experiment was carried out at the Sociological Institute of the University of Nijmegen, in order to improve the interview training of the students. It was found that, apart from the questioning as such, note-taking also deserves the utmost attention (27.4% of the answers to all open-ended questions had been written down incorrectly). It also appeared that inaccuracy (by mere carelessness) and insufficient or incorrect knowledge of the hyp's and of the meaning of the questions were the main causes of various errors. AA.
