An exchange of letters is presented between C. Boef and A. J. F. Köbben. Köbben had stated that a study by L. Festinger of a group of religious people was 'ethically inadmissible' because it had no positive effects on the S's. Boef contests this, and adds that Köbben's similar study of a group of Lou-mensen (a Dutch religious sect) was actually 'ethically inadmissible.' In Repliek, a rejoinder, Köbben claims that Boef is 'measuring with 2 measures' and states that his own experiment was 'ethically admissible.' I. Langnas.
