Samenvatting

Presumed is that the presence of others in answering interview questions is an important factor in interviews on sexual permissiveness as done by Attwood Statistics N. V., Synopsis of random sampling eros '65, Rotterdam, 1965. The questions were asked or shown on a card seen only by the interviewee. All answers were oral. The questions were dichotomized as described in C. van Eeden and R. Korswagen "Handbook for Rank Correlation Reference of Kendall," Center of Mathematics, Amsterdam, 1959, Report S 262 (M83). The presence of others was the independent variable. The analytic method used was as described by H. Hyman. Other variables considered were education, age, sex, and marital status. The statistics were arranged according to J. C. Spitz. Conclusions are difficult to make because the third person was not identified. The questions asked were not very extreme. It has become clear that the presence of a third person is related to variables such as marital status, education, age, religion, and sex. 2 Tables. K. Dillman.
