Some possible instruments for a population policy in the Netherlands aimed at a reduction of population growth to 0 level are considered. Discussed are: (1) influencing age at marriage, (2) prevention of unwanted pregnancies within and without marriage, (3) propaganda for small families, (4) children's allowances, and (5) contribution of allochthonous population to the birth rate.
