Samenvatting

Every year 50,000 Dutch people are interviewed by the NIPO; generally the R's remain anonymous. The individual can expect to be interviewed once in 10 years. Consequently A. C. A. Van Den Hout's views concerning the difficulties & validity of interviews are found to be exaggerated. Scientific research & marketing investigation are often confounded, but very few elements seem to indicate an increase of distrust with regard to interviews. Many R's seem to regret not being informed of the results of the investigations for which they were interviewed. I. Verluyten.
