An analysis of research on the vacation preferences of youths between 15-20 years old. A list of 61 vacation activities was presented to 507 M's & F's who scored them by relative preference. Factor analysis showed that the 2 most important dimensions were 'culture & nature' & 'contact with the opposite sex & adventure'. A regression analysis of these 2 dimensions with other factors indicates that the variables extroversion & sex have the relatively largest explanatory value. 3 Tables. Modified HA.
