Samenvatting

A critique of current views on neo-Fascist & neoracist ideology. The propaganda of the Dutch Centrumpartij, a political party founded in 1980, consists of paraphrases & citations of earlier democratic & progressive works, transformed & restructured into elements of neoracist propaganda. Because this transformation is common to all political-ideological work, it is concluded that there is no need for theory on specifically neo-Fascist or neoracist frameworks. The only difference is that the outcome of these movements differs from that of other parties. Therefore, the only effective anti-Fascist & antiracist political strategies would be normal political-ideological work to interrupt or discredit neoracist articulations in the same way that nonracist political opponents are opposed. Until now, the Centrumpartij has had a growing support base, winning 0.8% of the vote in the 1982 general elections & 2.1% in the 1984 European Parliamentary elections. 10 References. Modified HA.
