Samenvatting

In response to J. Soeter's & H. Schreuder's article on national & organizational cultures in accounting offices (see SA 35:2/87R4129), a cross-cultural analysis of 3 Dutch & 3 US accounting firms, it is argued that their conceptual analysis is not wholly logical due to imprecise usage of group features & characteristics not linked to either culture.
