Samenvatting

The process method is used to explore how influence on the government is divided among comparative actors. Social rank, relative deprivation, particularism, & cosmopolitanism of the actors appear to be connected with inequality of influence. A recent empirical study of the influence of hospitals on the national government confirms these findings, but additional research is needed to discover how different conditions affect the relevancy of these social concepts & to develop some general laws of influence. It is suggested that different laws govern government & actors. 4 Tables, 1 Diagram, 17 References. Modified HA
