Samenvatting

A response to P. G. Swanborn's review of Spelen met paradoxen; een methodologische studie naar vicieuze cirkels in denken en handelen ([Playing with Paradoxes; a Methodological Study of Vicious Circles in Thoughts and Actions] Van Dijkum, C., 1988 [see IPRS No. 48/89a63315]). In contradiction to Swanborn's findings, it is argued that falsification theory does have a logical basis. Analysis of past discussions -- on first view merely abstract -- shows that they had an actual concrete basis. M. Barker
