Samenvatting

An investigation of the relationship between sources of information & the completeness of data, obtained via interviews, document analyses, open conversations, & direct observation, in a sociological study of 44 mid-sized Dutch municipalities. Analysis shows that 3-4 informants in different positions, when well-chosen, suffice to obtain the maximum information attainable, which nevertheless remains incomplete.
