Samenvatting

In Western nations, during & after WWII, many young adults postponed work & marriage while obtaining higher education; others married &/or began work soon after leaving school. Using data from A. Felling's, J. Peters's, & O. Schreuder's Religion in Dutch Society 85 (Amsterdam: Steinmetz Archive, 1987), it is shown that this structural diversity among young adults is linked to cultural diversity.
