Een criminologisch alternatief voor de studie van jeugddelinquentie?

Critical rebuttals are presented to arguments advanced in Marianne Junger's Delinquency and Ethnicity: An Investigation of Social Factors Relating to Delinquency among Moroccan, Turkish, Surinamese and Dutch Boys Deventer/Boston, 1990) & H. Werdmolder's Een generatie op drift: de geschiedenis van een Marokkaanse randgroep ([A Generation Adrift: The History of the Moroccan Marginal Group] Arnhem, 1990). Neither Junger's criminological approach nor Werdmolder's anthropological perspective satisfactorily explains all of the observed phenomena encountered in studying ethnicity patterns among juvenile delinquents in the Netherlands. Junger's shortsightedness & opportunism & Werdmolder's mystifications illustrate some of the problems faced by the contemporary social sciences.
