Presents results of a survey of 687 young adults in the Netherlands on attitudes toward death, dying, & life after death. Two general approaches to death are identified: the Christian & innerworldly. While the former is dominant among those from orthodox religious backgrounds, those from other milieus, & participants in religious countercultures, eg, the New Age movement, employ mixed conceptions. 3 Tables, 51 References.
