De inculturatie van de liturgie tot (stil)stand gebracht? Kanttekeningen bij een Romeins document over liturgie en inculturatie

Abstract

The increasing attention for the inculturation of the liturgy is in line with the renewal of the liturgy. Reconsidering the principles and the results of the renewed liturgy one can criticise the uniformity and the standardization of tradition. There is no room to give attention to shifts in believing and living within the actual cultural settings. The Roman document on liturgy and inculturation agrees with the fundamental basic assumptions of inculturation, but the elaboration leaves little room for continuing the inculturation of the renewed liturgy.
