Abstract

This paper proposes a collaborative preaching model for healing from collective trauma. From the context of Indonesia, a community living with collective trauma, the model integrates trauma-aware preaching, a conversational preaching model, and two local Indonesian traditions as its framework. This paper (part of which was presented by the author at the Societas Homiletica Conference in June 2024) then reports on the practical implementation of the model as designed and conducted by a sermonic conversation group.
