Funfair in Amsterdam or the Culture of the Sexual Revolution. The Amsterdam (Netherlands) sexual fair of the late 1960s is analyzed in the larger context of the sexual revolution. The fair consisted primarily of nude theatrical presentations and much rhetoric. Art, ideology, pornography, improvization, and provocation were hallmarks of the nude theater, which ended quickly through differentiation, commercialization, and the spread of Freudian, Marxist, and feminist ideologies. 1 Figure, 1 Photograph.
