POLLENREGEN EN POLLENNEERSLAG
Samenvatting
Differences in aero-pollen measured by a Burkard sampler and pollen precipitated in moss cushions collected nearby were investigated. The remarkably high percentages of Populus, Cupressaceae and Urtica pollen present in the air were not found with pollen precipitated in moss cushions. These types also display low values in subfossil assemblages. The pollen wall of these three types seems to be so fragile that the pollen grains remain intact for a short time only.
