VLAKGRAVEN EN GRAFHEUVELS OP HET HUIDBERGSVELD BIJ DALEN (DR.)

Samenvatting

In April and June Messrs. Joh. and J. Boesjes reported two interesting sites south of Dalen. On the first site they discovered pottery from TRB graves of which two could be excavated, together with a ring ditch from a levelled (Neolithic/Bronze Age?) barrow. At the second site another levelled barrow was discovered, also with a ring ditch, remains of a central grave and a secondary burial. Both contained cremated remains and the barrow can be dated to the Middle Bronze Age.
