VEREN, MIJTEN EN EEN LUIS
Samenvatting
During the excavation at the former Wolters-Noordhoff complex in Groningen in 1990, four complete feathers and a dozen fragments of feathers were found in a late medieval (13th century) dung deposit. The feathers were identified as belonging to either Carrion Crow (Corvus corone corone) or Rook (Corvus frugilegus). On the feathers the remains were found of two feathermites (Analgesidae) and a feather-louse (Mallophaga).
