NIEUWE FRAGMENTEN VAN DE 'KONINKLIJKE' SPANG VAN WIJNALDUM (FR.)

Samenvatting

On one of the 'terpen' near Wijnaldum (Friesland) further fragments were dis­covered of the 'royal' fibula found 40 years ago. Except for the disc, it can now be reconstructed. Due to ploughing and drai­nage, excavation of the site seems to be inevitable; a first campaign is planned for 1991, a joint undertaking of the Universi­ties of Amsterdam and Groningen.
