Samenvatting

A preliminary subdivision of the Dutch Single Grave Culture into 4 chronological phases is presented. It is mainly based upon associations of battle axes with beak­ers in flat and barrow graves, supplemen­ted with evidence of other associated finds, calibrated radiocarbon dates, stratigraphy and typology.
