Samenvatting
The excavation of a terp near Wijnaldum is airned on the one hand at callecting evidence about the early-medieval Frisian kingdom and its contacts, and on the other at assessing the degree of deteriaration of such dwelling-mounds. This terp definitely proves to have been an elite settlement; besides, erosion was found to be a serious threat to the remains within it.
