EEN ARCHEOLOGISCHE INVENTARISATIE IN DRENTHE
Samenvatting
An archaeological survey was conducted in the province of Drenthe, the Netherlands, comprising a field survey, examination of soil profiles and test excavations. The survey covered 51 sites where archaeological artifacts had previously been found, and was aimed at assessing the degree of protection they required in view of a planned reallotment scheme. Sites with the greatest numbers of surface finds turned out to be those with the worst-damaged soil profiles. Any unidentified, well-preserved sites remained beyond the scope of this study.
