Samenvatting
During the excavation of mammoth remains near Orvelte (DrentheJ in the summer of 1991, samples were taken to study the invertebrate fauna associated with the mammoth-bearing deposits. The results of two methods of extraction of mite remains are presented and compared. The ecological preferences of the mite species are used to reconstruct the local environment.
