ONDERZOEK NAAR DE KERK OP 'T OLTHOF VAN AKMARIJP (FR.)
Samenvatting
Recently, historians discovered that north of the village of Akmarijp there was a field known as ''t Olthof' ('the old yard'). Excavation at the site showed that it was an old cemetery. It was concluded that in the 12th century Akmarijp lay close to this site. This fits in well with the picture of medieval settlements shifting with the reclamations. Resistivily surveying produced good results in this investigation.
