Samenvatting

This article presents the results of a study of the faunal remains from two small dwelling mounds near the town of Emden (Germany ), inhabited during the first and second centuries AD. All remains represent domesticated animals; their composition does not differ from that found for dwell­ing mounds in the northern Netherlands.
