UZITA, EEN ROMEINSE STADJE (TUNESIË)
Samenvatting
In 1970-72 an excavation was carried out at Henehir el Makreeba, which has been identified with ancient Uzita. This Tunisian-Dutch excavation focused on the investigation of three large peristylium houses belonging to a residential quarter, which was uncovered in 1961. The smallest of the three houses was originally built around AD 80 and rebuilt in c. 190.
