NIEUWE IJZERTIJDONTDEKKINGEN ONDER HET OUDE BOUWLAND VAN DALEN (DR.)
Samenvatting
In 1994 the continuing house-building in the village of Dalen (province of Drenthe, the Netherlands) reached another of the village's former open fields (essen), the Molenakkers. During a small-scale rescue excavation, part of a cemetery with cremation burials on plots surrounded by square and rectangular ditches, the plan of an Iron-Age farmhouse with dwelling and byre sections and a sunken hut from the 1st century AD could be recorded.
