Samenvatting
The Late Neolitic site of Kolhorn (province of North Holland) was excavated between 1979 and 1986 by the Biologisch-Archaeologisch Instituut, and consists of two separate, moderatesized settlements. The site can be attributed to the Single-Grave Culture and is dated between 2600 and 2450 BC. Since 1993 about 10% of the pottery has been systematically investigated. One sherd is of special interest: a rim sherd of a beaker with decoration on the outside and the rim, as well as the inside of the pot. This sherd ean be classified as the 'All-Over-Ornamented' pottery, and also dates to between 2600 and 2450 BC.
