Samenvatting

This article gives a short summary of the archaeozoology of the cave Leang Burung 2, located in the karstic region of Maras, southern Sulawesi, Indonesia. Further research is necessary to bring to light whether the cave was inhabited all year round and whether the surrounding area was exploited in the same way over the more than 10,000 years that Leang Eurung 2 was inhabited, or whether there was a faunistic change in use in the successive millenniums.
