PALYNOLOGISCHE AANWIJZINGEN VOOR AKKERBOUW IN HET 10e MILLENNIUM BP IN CENTRAAL-ANATOLIË?
Samenvatting
A possible early record of human activity in the pollen diagram of Eski Acigöl is discussed. The diagram covers the Late Glacial period from 14,500 BP on, and the whole or the greater part of the Holocene. The tentative indications were mostly derived from the occurrence of high Cerealia values (up to 10%), the presence of same 'weedy' pollen types preceding the high Cerealia values, and the sudden and temporary rise of Pediastrum boryanum during the contemporary occupation of Aşıklı Höyük (c. 8700-8200 BP). The early impact may result from the delicate natural balance, due to the arid climate.
