Samenvatting

Around the middle of the 4th century AD the terp region was abandonned by the 'Old Fri­sians' and starting around the middle of the 5th century immigrants (New Frisians) began to re­occupy the region. The discontinuity is shown by changes in settlement-layout and changes in ma­terial culture.
