TETRADRACHMEN EN TETROBOLEN; EEN MUNTVONDST IN NIEUW HALOS
Samenvatting
During the excavation of the Southeast Gate of New Halos in 1995 a small hoard was found consisting of 15 silver coins. For the time being we assume that this hoard was hidden or lost during the construction of the enceinte of New Halos. It is tempting to assume that the coins from Ephesos, Tenos, Karystos, Chalkis, Histiaia reflect the approximate route that was followed by the individual who buried or lost these coins some time during the construction of the wall near the Southeast Gate.
