NEDERZETTINGSSPOREN UIT BRONSTIJD EN IJZERTIJD OP DE DAALKAMPEN TE BORGER (DR.)
Samenvatting
In 1994 traces were discovered during the construction of a road to a new housing estate near Borger. In the spring of 1995, a systematic excavation was carried out adjacent to the new road. From analysing the results of both campaigns it is evident that we are dealing with fragments of a settlement dating from the Middle Bronze Age to Iron Age (about 1400- 400 BC), with house plans of the Emmerhout and Elp types, granaries, refuse pits and ditches. In this period house-building and partial renewal of the houses took place in a remarkable way.
