'THE ANSWER IS BLOWING IN THE WIND': NAAR DYNAMISCHE MODELLEN VAN STEENTIJDNEDERZETTINGEN
Samenvatting
At Stone Age sites with a hearth in the open air, the possibility exists that people repeatedly rotated around the fire, in response to changes in wind direction This possibility can be investigated by a combination of refitting analysis and ring-and-sector analysis. The outcome in the case of the Hamburgian site at Oldeholtwolde is that the wind changed, during occupation, from south, through west, to north.
