PROSPECTIE, TUSSEN DRIJFZAND EN BELEID: STAVOREN (GEM. NIJEFURD, FR.)
Samenvatting
At Stavoren a site with medieval occupation and a 16th-century fort was due to be developed. Prospection was undertaken with the aid of coring and measurements of the electric soil resistance, followed by an exploratory excavation. The results of the prospection proved to be reliable. Furthermore, the historical features will now be protected, while the site's development will not be hindered. This procedure could well set a standard for future occasions.
