Samenvatting

This article deals with the faunal remains from a Roman tempie in Nijmegen, dedicated to For­tuna (2nd century AD). The remains comprise both offerings (mainly chicken) and small ro­dents that must have been trapped unintention­ally in the pits into which the remnants of the offerings were thrown after the ceremony.
