VUURMAKERS UIT HET LAAT-PALEOLITHICUM REVlSITED
Samenvatting
Several flint implements with one or two rounded ends from Late Palaeolithic sites in Denmark and Holland are described. Such pieces are interpreted as probable strike-a-lights used in combination with pyrite. lt is argued that these implements were essentially ad hoc tools; in addition to unretouched blades, tools of a wide range of different types were reused for this purpose.
