Samenvatting

In the village of Pingjum a medieval wall of a 19th- century house, Kerkstraat 5–9, was investigated. The wall was constructed from large bricks in Flemish bond and must have been built in the first half of the 14th century. When the house was demolished and a building pit was dug, the partial floor plan of a small timber building was found. This building dated from the late 11th or early 12th century.
