Samenvatting

Twelve samples from the dwelling mound Verswerd have been analysed for their plant remains. The samples represent the Early, Middle and Late Medieval period. Several cultivated plants were found, including hulled six-row barley, emmer, rye, oats, celtic bean and grapevine. In addition, a large number of wild plants were identified, representing arable weeds, ruderal plant species and plants from salt marshes and fresh-water bodies.
