Iron Age animal husbandry, hunting, fowling and fishing on Voorne-Putten (the Netherlands)

Abstract
Faunal remains from Iron Age farms on Voorne-Putten have been studied. Animal husbandry, especially the rearing of cattle, was the most important source of food of animal origin. The farms could have been self-sufficient as regards meat and milk, and may even have produced some surplus.
